Extended Day Program
August 2012Dear Parents & Guardians:
Welcome to the Extended Day Program (EDP). The EDP Program was begun as a service to working parents, but is open to all families of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.
In Extended Day your children are provided with a light healthy snack each day. Students in First Grade and up are given time to work on their homework Monday through Thursday. During the week we have arts and crafts activities and there is also time for free play.
The EDP hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EDP is also available from 7:00-7:30 each morning school is in session.
Kindergarten – 8th Grade
Registration fee: $25.00 per family
Monday through Thursday fee: 3:00-4:30 (or any part thereof) $5.00 per student, per day
4:30-6:00 (or any part thereof) $5.00 per sutident, per day
Friday fee: 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (or any part thereof) $6.00. After 3:00 p.m. the regular fees apply
Late pick-up fee:$1.00 per minute
Any child not picked up from school by 3:15 p.m. will be sent to EDP and charged the appropriate Extended Day fee.
Payment is expected in advance. When you send in $36.00 on Monday, your child will be covered for the week. If your child misses a day, the credit will roll over to the following week. If you prefer, you can pay more than one week in advance.
Fees are to be paid in advance. Any time not used will be held as a credit until it has been used. If you prefer, you can pay more than one week in advance. The EDP program is self-sufficient and not supported by the school budget, so prompt payment is required.
Please complete the Extended Day Enrollment form and return it to school with the registration fee as well as the first week’s payment by August 1, 2012.
