Accounting Procedures:
Our Lady of Lourdes has officially begun its new partnership with Judge Memorial for accounting service. So, what changes can you, the parents, expect now that Judge does our accounting? The answer is, very few. Probably the biggest change is one you have already experienced – using FACT to pay your tuition. The other change you can expect is an improved system of tracking all payments and donations. As always, checks can still be written out to “Our Lady of Lourdes” and they can still be turned in to OLOL School.
Tuition is a fact of life in Catholic schools. You know that when you register. To date we still have about 50 students who have not signed up with FACT or begun paying their tuition. Letters are going out today to those involved. Please respond immediately.
Calling all locksmiths!
Thank you all for your cooperation in making OLOL a safe, secure school by waiting outside for your students and enduring the locked doors. We have no plans to change that, but what we would like to do is install a door buzzer and intercom so you don’t have to wait for someone to get up and answer the door at times when you do have business to conduct in the school. If anyone knows of any locksmith/security people or businesses that might be willing to donate or greatly discount their services, or if you know of any company that might want to make an investment in school safety, please let me know at principal@callingallfriends.com.
Extended Day:
There was some confusion over the last month of school and the summer as to who has and has not paid their previous year’s extended day balance. To the best of our knowledge and ability we tried to send out accurate notices. However, if you feel you received a bill for last year’s extended day in error please contact me at principal@callingallfriends.com . If your statement is correct, your check for that amount or arrangements for payment would be greatly appreciated.

Roundup:
For those of you who are new to Our Lady of Lourdes School, the Roundup is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The proceeds support the general operating budget as well as our scholarship fund. As part of the Our Lady of Lourdes community, you are all members of the HSA (Home School Association). The HSA is putting together a basket for the Roundup and the theme this year is “My Favorite Things”. Please think of your “favorite thing” (i.e. reading, going out to dinner, golfing, etc - whatever interests you) and consider donating this “favorite thing” for the basket which will be auctioned or raffled off at the Roundup. If you would like to donate a whole basket, please feel free to do that as well.
Uniforms:
October 1st is fast approaching and we are still
seeing students out of uniform.
Dennis Uniforms has the required pieces of clothing in stock. If you do not see something with the
logo on it, just ask. They can do
the logo while you wait. If you
have Dennis items from last year without the logo, we have ordered more patches
for you to buy ($5.00). We will
announce when they come in. All
uniform pieces (pants, skirts, skorts, shirts) must be purchased at
Dennis.
Picture Day:
September 29th is picture day. Information will be coming home about

Spring pictures will be taken and the students will be able to wear
their own clothes for those.
