BEE Safe Night: This
event is scheduled for Thursday, October 9th from 5:00 – 7:00
in the OLOL gym. We encourage
everyone to attend. See the
enclosed flyer for more information.
EDP Pick-up: Due
to the Bee Safe Program, you need to enter through the kindergarten gate to
pick up your children tomorrow, October 9th. EDP times will not change.
Health Message: There will be a flu shot clinic in the
Our Lady of Lourdes School gym on October 20th from 1:00-4:00. The shots will be administered by
nurses and will cost $25.00 each.
Please return the enclosed slip so that there will be enough supplies
for everyone.
Volunteer Forms: Volunteer forms are in this week’s
envelope. Please keep track of
your hours. (Of course you are welcome
to continue volunteering after you have completed your hours!! ![]()
Calling all basketball
players! Basketball season is almost here. We need parent volunteers to coach our
teams. There will not be a team
for the grades that don’t have a volunteer coach. Girls and boys from grades 3 – 8 may participate. If you are interested in coaching,
please send a note in your child’s brown envelope and list your contact
information and the grade you would like to coach. You will need to attend a meeting on October 20th
at 6:00PM.
Can you help? The
8th grade is in need of old skis for their class project. Bring them to school ASAP.
Mark Your Calendars: On
Sunday, October 26th Fr. JJ will be installed as pastor of Our Lady
of Lourdes Church. Please join us
at the 11:00 Mass and the social that will follow. The entrée will be provided, but if you can bring a salad
for 10 people, please e-mail the rectory: sandy@callingallfriends.com.
Report Cards: Report
cards will be going home soon.
Make sure your financial obligations have been taken care of so your
children can receive theirs. ![]()
Sally Foster: Thank
you for your support. The Sally
Foster orders went home Monday. If
your order is not complete, call Angela Green at 487-4885 right away. The cookie dough will be delivered next
Wednesday morning. Please make
sure you pick up your orders after school. They need to be refrigerated.
Mrs. Green is
looking for 4 volunteers on Wednesday from 10:00-1:00 or 2:00 to help sort the
orders. Please call her if you can
help.
Middle School Dance: We
are hosting the October middle school (7th & 8TH
grades) dance next Friday, October 17th. We need a couple of volunteers to help chaperone (especially
fathers). Call or e-mail the
office if you can help. See the
enclosed flyer.
TAG DAY: This
Friday, October 10th, is Tag Day. This month’s colors are orange and/or black. Bring $1.00 to come out of uniform.
