Happy Birthday!: Fr. JJ’s birthday is tomorrow. Students can still bring in 25 cents for a gift for him.
Math Counts News: Congratulations to Sean Sloan, Erik Poppleton, Hayley Dahlhauser, and Taylor Green. Their Math Counts team was asked to participate in the state competition on March 28th.
EDP Art Program: The Art Program begins on Friday. Remember to sign up if you are interested.
Pre-K comes to Our Lady of Lourdes: We will be having a pre-K (4 year-old) program for the 2009/2010 school year. Call the school office for information and forms.
Beauty and the Beast: Grades K – 5 have
been invited to see a production of Beauty and the Beast at Juan Diego High
School. There is no cost since
Juan Diego is sending buses for us.
Please complete the permission slip that your child received and return
it to school tomorrow. One has been attached in case yours didn’t get home. The bus is leaving at 8:10. If your student arrives late you will
need to take him/her back home as no one will be available to supervise them.
Breaking News for Park City Parents: Mr. & Mrs. Jahries (Patrick, 7th; Brendan, 6th, and Abigail, 1st) are hosting a wine and cheese meeting with representatives from Judge Memorial High School to discuss the possibility of a bus from Park City to Judge and Lourdes for next year. E-mail Mrs. Jahries at MRJahries@MSN.com if you plan on attending or to express your interest if you can’t make it.
Ski / Snowboard Program: The first ski trip was a lot of fun for all. The students were very well behaved. In order to make things run more smoothly, please make sure your child’s clothing and equipment is here before 11:00.
Calling All Bees Fans: Vouchers are on sale at the school office. $10.00 each for the best available
seat. $5.00 will come back to the
school.
Registration Night: It is imperative that at least one parent from each family attend tonight’s meeting. You will be receiving information and paperwork that will be necessary to ensure a good start to the 2009-2010 school year. Come prepared to fill out the necessary forms tonight. If that is not possible, all paperwork must be completed and turned in by April 1st to ensure your child a place for the new school year. If you absolutely cannot attend the meeting, please e-mail me principal@callingallfriends.com to set up a time when we can meet.
Spring Pictures: Spring pictures have arrived and are in today’s brown envelope. Look them over. Send payment for any pictures you want to keep
and return those you do not want. All returns are due by March 31st.
Confirmation Parent Meetings: Mandatory parent and sponsor meetings for confirmation are being held on March 10th and 17th at 7:00PM in
St. Ann’s Church. The students do not attend these meetings.
Leprechaun Lope: The Leprechaun Lope, our next big fundraiser, is scheduled for March 14th. You can sign up for the Leprechaun Lope tonight at the Pre-Resgistration rate. The price is $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. If you sign up after tonight the price goes up to $25 for adults
and children. There will be an information table at tonight’s meeting.
CALENDAR REMINDERS: Remember to keep your calendar in a visible place (like on the refrigerator door). 7th & 8th grade Friday dismissal times are posted on the calendar. The calendar is on the website if you have misplaced it. Here are some items of note:
