Ski / Snowboard Program: Today is the last day
for registrations. The program
begins on Friday, February 27th. We are still looking for chaperones for the buses. If you can help, please contact Mr.
Galvan at: Dgalvan@sisna.com
Roald Dahl Festival: Tomorrow evening from 6:00-8:00PM. The children have been reading Roald Dahl’s books in school. There will be activities and families are invited to bring their favorite Roald Dahl concoction for others to sample. Everyone is invited.
Tag Day: Thursday, February 19th will be a yellow tag day in honor of Roald Dahl. Remember your $1.00.
School Mass: This Sunday, February 22nd at
11:00am. The 3rd
graders will be doing the readings.
Come to Mass in your uniforms.
There will be a pancake breakfast following Mass for all who attend.
Parent Teacher Conferences: There will be a 12:30 dismissal on Thursday, February
26th for Parent Teacher Conferences. 7th grade will dismiss at 12:30 and 8th
grade will dismiss at 1:00. There
will be EDP.
Book Fair: On February 26th the HSA is sponsoring
“Bagels and Books” from 7:00 – 8:00am. Please contact Stephanie Metos at: skmetos@comcast.net if you can help. The Book Fair will be running from the
25th to the 27th.
Lunch Orders: The lunch order forms for March are attached. Please complete and return them with
payment by February 27th.
This month the Thursday lunches will be supplied by a new provider. We are researching a company that will
give you more flexibility in purchasing lunches for your children as well as
the capability of providing more than 70 lunches on a given day.
Registration Night: We will be having a registration meeting on Wednesday evening, March 4th from 6:30-8:00pm. It is imperative that at least one parent from each family attend. You will be receiving information and paperwork that will be necessary to ensure a good start to the 2009-2010 school year. All paperwork must be completed and turned in by April 1st to ensure your child a place for the new school year.
Uniform Exchange: We will be having two uniform exchanges this year (one the night of registration and one at the end of the school year). Please wash any outgrown uniform parts that are in good condition (no holes, tears, or stains) and send or bring them to school with your name on them. You will receive a ticket for each piece and may turn that ticket in for a larger uniform piece on March 4th. We cannot guarantee that there will be a size that you need. Tickets can also be used at the end-of-the-year exchange. Any uniform parts not traded will be sold at $5.00 a piece after school closes in May. Any 8th grade parents who have uniforms that are in good condition can drop them off after graduation if they have no further use for them.
Leprechaun Lope: The Leprechaun Lope, our next big fundraiser, is scheduled for March 14th. Rick Estrada is organizing this event. Anyone
interested in helping him to make this a success can e-mail LeprechaunLope08@yahoo.com to volunteer. This is a good way to complete your VIP
hours.
