The Great Pumpkin Mystery:  Thank you to whoever carved the magnificent pumpkin with “Our Lady of Lourdes” on it that was left on the porch.  It is a great example of craftsmanship and generosity.  I only wish we could save it.   If you haven’t seen it yet, it will be on display until December 1st.

Roundup:  The Roundup is almost here.  Everyone has been working very hard to make it a success.  It is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  A special thank you goes to Jeff Kuhendahl, who is chairing the event, and his committee.  I also want to thank the teachers who have managed to fit their class projects into already busy schedules.  Their projects were much more involved than I envisioned and are really incredible.
We need more volunteers to help in the kitchen on the evening of the roundup.  We are trying to arrange 1 hour shifts.  Please contact Jeff if you can help.
Just a reminder: The HSA is donating a "My Favorite Things" basket to the round up.  Everyone is a member of HSA so please send in your donation, marked for HSA or bring it to the HSA meeting of Tuesday Nov. 14th.

Student Authors:  Many of the students recently participated in a book publishing project.  The books have been sent to the publisher and will be here before Christmas.

Karate:  Karate classes have been cancelled due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.  A week will be added on in December.

EDP Door Codes:  Codes for the gym door have been assigned to each family.  They will work between 3:00-6:00PM Monday through Friday.  These are to be used to pick your children up from Extended Day.  After 6:00, the inside doors to the gym are locked to secure the school building.  The codes will  not work on weekends.  Please do not give your code to anyone unless you are sending them to pick your child up from EDP.
Codes will be given to you at your Parent/Teacher conference and will begin working on Monday, November 10th.
